Fire Sprinkler System is an active fire protection method, consisting of a water supply system, providing adequate pressure and flow rate to a water distribution piping system, onto which fire sprinklers are connected.
Fire Sprinkler Systems are made up from a series of components including; Stop Valve, Alarm Valve, Fire Sprinkler (head), Alarm Test Valve and Motorised Alarm Bell (Gong). In addition to this there are additional components that support this arrangement including a Valve Monitor, Pressure Switch and Flow Switch.
The Fire Sprinkler is also used to control the flow of water. It is essentially a valve that when exposed for a sufficient time to a temperature at or above the temperature rating of the heat sensitive element (glass bulb or fusible link) releases, allowing water to flow from only the affected sprinkler. The operation and subsequent water flow of an automatic fire sprinkler will lead to a drop in pressure within the fire sprinkler system after the alarm valve.
Wet Pipe Fire Sprinkler Systems – wet pipe fire sprinklers are the most common type of fire sprinkler system in use. In a wet pipe fire sprinkler, the water is stored directly in the pipes and released by heat activated sprinkler heads. This type of fire sprinkler has the advantage of being able to activate instantly, with no lag time when the fire sprinkler heads open.
Dry Pipe Fire Sprinkler Systems – dry pipe fire sprinkler systems are similar to wet pipe, except the water is not stored in the pipes. Instead, the pipes are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen gas. When the sprinkler heads open, the gas is released and a valve opens that allows water to flow out through the open fire sprinkler heads. While this causes a slight delay in water discharge, it is useful in buildings where water could freeze if kept in the pipes.
Deluge Fire Sprinkler Systems – a deluge fire sprinkler system is very similar to a wet pipe fire sprinkler system, except the fire sprinkler heads are kept open at all times – they are not activated by heat. Instead, deluge fire sprinkler systems are operated by a specialized fire alarm which causes a valve to open and release the water. Once the valve opens, it can’t be closed until manually turned off. Deluge fire sprinklers are not commonly found in homes or offices. Instead, they are used in places where rapid fire spread is a concern. You will usually see deluge fire sprinkler systems near high rise windows, warehouse bay entries or anywhere else where a fire could escape quickly.
Pre-Action Fire Sprinkler Systems – a pre-action fire sprinkler system is basically a combination of wet pipe and dry pipe fire sprinkler system. Basically, water is not stored in the pipes until a fire detection device detects a fire. At this point, the detection device opens a valve to let the water in before the sprinkler heads open. When the heads open, the pre-action fire sprinkler system reacts as quickly as a wet pipe fire sprinkler system. Pre-action fire sprinkler systems are best suited for areas that are at high risk for serious water damage in the event of accidental fire sprinkler activation.
A Fire Hose is a high-pressure hose that carries water or other fire retardant (such as foam) to afire to extinguish it. Outdoors, it attaches either to a fire engine or a fire hydrant. Indoors, it can permanently attach to a building’s standpipe or plumbing system. Fire hose reels are located to provide a reasonably accessible and controlled supply of water to combat a potential fire risk.
Fire Hose Reel System are made up from a series of components including; a fully extended fire hose is 36 meters with a diameter of 19mm (outside diameter). All fire hose reels come with a unique ball valve shut-off device, a plastic or solid brass hose reel nozzle and mounting bracket.
Fire Hose Reel Systems consist of pumps, pipes, water supply and hose reels located strategically in a building, ensuring proper coverage of water to combat a fire. The system is manually operated and activated by opening a valve enabling the water to flow into the hose that is typically 30 meters away. These appliances are designed to deliver, as a minimum, 0.33L of water per second. A control nozzle attached to the end of the hose enables the operator to control the direction and flow of water to the fire.
Conventional systems are essentially simple switches that are either “on” or “off”. They cannot distinguish between a real fire and the various non-fire phenomena that can trigger an alarm such as tobacco smoke, dust and steam. With conventional systems the control panel is only able to indicate the zone or circuit that an activated (or faulty) detector is on, they can not identify the individual device.
Analogue addressable systems have constant two-way communication between the control panel and the detectors in the field. Each detection device on an analogue addressable system has its own unique address within the system and the control panel is able to identify each device individually in the case of a fire or a fault
Microprocessor based fire alarm panel comes with built-in programmer. This alarm panel is specially designed with sensors to spot changes related with fire from surroundings and automatically blow alarm. These are operated with electric energy and are available in four types such as conventional panels, addressable panels, multiplex systems and coded panels.
The Argonite fixed fire extinguishing system (FFES), utilises the mixture of nitrogen (50%) and argon (50%). Both the nitrogen and argon are natural neutral gases, which are found in the Earth’s air at concentrations of 78% and 1%, respectively. Such a mixture has no deteriorating effect on the ozonosphere, as it is the case with (H)CFC, nor does it contribute to the greenhouse effect, as CO2. The ARGONITE is completely safe for the environment, electronic devices and men. Availability of this extinguishing agent in the Polish market causes that neither the charging process, nor a given charge itself is required to be certified (as it is with the other gas-based systems). It is of key significance in subsequent maintenance and servicing of a system (a low cost of and ease of re-charging cylinders).
FM200 fire suppression is also known as HFC227ea.
FM200 is a waterless fire protection system, it is discharged into the risk within 10 seconds and suppresses the fire immediately. FM200 is a clean, colorless, and environmentally friendly fire suppression agent that is electrically non-conductive and safe for humans. It extinguishes flames primarily through heat absorption, leaving no residue, thus minimizing downtime after a fire and making FM200 suppression systems accepted and respected worldwide with over one hundred thousand installations in more than seventy countries.
A fixed type of Co2 fire fighting system includes a large no of CO2 bottles arranged together. This system is mainly used for large areas on ships, such as cargo holds or machinery spaces of engine room, where fighting fire gets difficult due to extended spaces and fire intensity. This system is also known as Total flooding system, for the spaces affected with fire are totally flooded with Co2 in order to quench the flames.
In this system, the cylinders are grouped together in banks, in totally separate rooms away from the machinery or cargo spaces. All the cylinders are joined together with the help of a common manifold. The outlet of each cylinder discharges through a connecting pipe into this common manifold. A non-return valve is provided to each of this connecting pipes so that incase any of the CO2 cylinder has to be replaced or recharged, it can be done so without the loss of pressure.
Fire suppression foam is comprised of three parts: foam concentrate, water, and air. When mixed correctly, these parts form a homogeneous foam blanket that extinguishes flames by the combined mechanisms of cooling, separating the flame source from the product surface, suppressing vapors, and smothering. This makes foam suppression systems an effective option for protecting flammable and combustible liquids.
A compressed air foam system is defined as a standard water pumping system that has an entry point where compressed air can be added to a foam solution to generate foam. The air compressor also provides energy, which, gallon for gallon, propels compressed air foam farther than aspirated or standard water nozzles.
Fire hydrant is an above-ground connection that provides access to a water supply for the purpose of fighting fires. The water supply may be pressurized, as in the case of hydrants connected to water mains buried in the street, or unpressurized, as in the case of hydrants connected to nearby ponds or cisterns.
Every hydrant has one or more outlets to which a fire hose may be connected. If the water supply is pressurized, the hydrant will also have one or more valves to regulate the water flow. In order to provide sufficient water for firefighting, hydrants are sized to provide a minimum flowrate of about 250 gallons per minute (945 liters per minute), although most hydrants can provide much more.
Wet fire main water supply pipe installed in a building for fire-fighting purposes and permanently charged with water from a pressurized supply, and fitted with landing valves at specified points. Where fire mains are installed and there are no floors higher than 50 m above fire service access level, wet or dry fire mains may be installed. Where there are floors higher than 50 m above fire service access level, wet fire mains should be installed owing to the pressures required to provide adequate fire-fighting water supplies at the landing valves at upper floors and also to ensure that water is immediately available at all floor levels.
Dry fire main water supply pipe installed in a building for fire-fighting purposes, fitted with inlet connections at fire service access level and landing valves at specified points, which is normally dry but is capable of being charged with water usually by pumping from fire and rescue service appliances.
Fireman Intercom System is a result of the advanced technologies available today & uses the latest single chip microprocessor. It provides features which are beyond the capability of the conventional 2 way communication system.
The Fireman Intercom System provides a reliable communication between the Master Console (Fire Command Centre) and the remote Handset Stations. The system consists of a remote handset station and Master control panel which is normally installed at the Fire Control Room. The Intercom handset stations are located at staircase at every level.
At the Master control panel, a call alert lamp shall flash with audible signal when there is incoming call. Upon lifting the handset, the audible signal will be silenced. The master control panel is also equipped with a fault indicator unit to indicate the type of fault.
Air piping system with cleaner interior surfaces helps promote the smooth, laminar flow of the fluid it transports, reducing turbulence and associated pressure losses. The Simplair® system’s marine-grade aluminum construction provides superior corrosion resistance to keep pipe interior surfaces free of the oxidation-based contamination that can occur with steel systems — contamination that can not only cause turbulence and pressure loss, but also cause problems if corrosion-related debris enters sensitive equipment.
Air piping system is available in a wide range of outer diameter sizes from 3/4” to 8” (20 mm to 220 mm) to serve nearly any application. High-quality, all-metal, easy-to-install fittings make it easy for users to design and construct their own systems without the need for professional installers.
Wet Chemical Suppression System is used to protect modern commercial kitchen from potential threats like open flame, red hot cooking surface and heavily grease laden environment which in turn leads to oil and grease fires. The wet chemicals suppress fire by a process called saponification. Saponification is a chemical reaction that occurs when a vegetable foil or animal fat is mixed with a strong alkali. Saponification value is a measure of the amount of potassium hydroxide needed to neutralize one gram of fat or oil. The most common types of cooking media, i.e., animal fats (or lard), vegetable oils, and peanut oils, have similar saponification values. Other fats, such as cocoa, have substantially higher saponification values and therefore are more difficult to extinguish
Emergency Lighting is designed to come on when the mains fail. It is usually provided for safety reasons and to enable uninterrupted occupation of a building in times of breakdown of the main lighting. It also provides lighting for escape routes in case evacuation at a building is necessary. The most widely used and economical systems are stored energy systems using secondary batteries specifically designed for long term stand-by use.

Portable fire extinguisher installed at business centers, office, factories, apartments/condominiums, hotels, shopping malls and any premises/commercial,vehicles (bus & taxi)meant for commercial purposed required a valid Bomba Certificate or (H/13 Resit). The validity of Bomba Certificate (H/13Resit) is based on yearly basis and required to renew as according to JBPM law.The purpose of renewal by JBPM is to ensure the Fire Extinguisher is on functioning basis and avoid clients to be cheated by irresponsible contractor.
Carbon Dioxide fire extinguishers extinguish fire by taking away the oxygen element of the fire triangle and also be removing the heat with a very cold discharge. Carbon dioxide can be used on Class B & C fires. They are usually ineffective on Class A fires.
Wet Chemical is a new agent that extinguishes the fire by removing the heat of the fire triangle and prevents re-ignition by creating a barrier between the oxygen and fuel elements. Wet chemical of Class K extinguishers were developed for modern, high efficiency deep fat fryers in commercial cooking operations. Some may also be used on Class A fires in commercial kitchens.
Dry Powder extinguishers are similar to dry chemical except that they extinguish the fire by separating the fuel from the oxygen element or by removing the heat element of the fire triangle. However, dry powder extinguishers are for Class D or combustible metal fires, only. They are ineffective on all other classes of fires.
Portable fire extinguisher is advisable to send for service annually to ensure the fire extinguisher in good condition and the contain type is ready to be use during emergency.Hence,to check any leakage on cylinder and meter gauge is working accordingly to recommended pressure. The inner parts will be tested to ensure in working condition.
Refilling:Refilling is only applicable when the fire extinguisher already has been used.We will help you to refill the gas and contains type (Powder,Co2,Water and Foam)depending on the cylinder origin. After completed, the cylinder will be tested to check any leakage and enough pressure.
